About this role
CMDB Asset Management Specialist leading CMDB health, discovery and integrations on the ServiceNow platform in a banking environment; responsible for data quality and regulatory alignment.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of CIs and IT assets in the CMDB
- Collaborate with developers and integration teams to ensure data flow
- Monitor CMDB health metrics and lead remediation
- Support Discovery and integrations to populate CMDB data
- Audit-ready documentation for regulatory needs
Technical Overview
Hands-on with ServiceNow CMDB, ITAM, ITIL; Discovery and system integrations via APIs; cloud/hybrid infrastructure familiarity; data quality and CI lifecycle management
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an experienced ServiceNow CMDB/ITAM specialist with 4-8 years in CMDB, ITAM and ITIL, able to lead CMDB health initiatives, drive discovery, and integrations in a hybrid cloud environment.
Must-Have Skills
Strong hands-on expertise with ServiceNow CMDBincluding CI classesrelationshipsreconciliationand normalizationExperience supporting IT Asset Management (ITAM) and Configuration Management processes aligned with ITIL standardsMinimum 4-8 years of relevant experience working with ServiceNowCMDBIT Asset Managementor related ITSM functionsGood to have knowledge of ServiceNow Discovery and system integrations (APIsdata importsthird-party tools)Familiarity with cloud platformshybrid infrastructureand modern IT operations models
