About this role
ServiceNow Developer IV role responsible for building and integrating ServiceNow applications throughout the software life cycle. The position emphasizes front-end/mid-tier work with JavaScript and Node.js, plus integrations and GIS capabilities using ESRI tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop ServiceNow applications from requirements through testing and post-production maintenance
- Implement front-end, mid-tier, and server-side capabilities using JavaScript (React, AngularJS) and Node.js
- Create integrations using mid-server, web services, and external APIs
- Develop GIS mapping components using ESRI JavaScript API and ARCGIS Online (AGOL)
- Participate in Agile planning and requirements definition; support multiple clients as needed
Technical Overview
Build custom ServiceNow applications using JavaScript with React/AngularJS and Node.js, and integrate legacy systems using mid-server and web services. Optionally focus on GIS mapping with the ESRI JavaScript API and ARCGIS Online (AGOL), with ETL/data migration experience desired and accessibility compliance (508/WCAG) preferred.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior ServiceNow Applications Developer with strong JavaScript expertise (including React and/or AngularJS) and hands-on experience building integrations using mid-server and web services. They also bring GIS/ESRI experience (ESRI JavaScript API and ARCGIS Online) and understand agile development and accessibility standards like 508 compliance and WCAG.
