About this role
Lead the design, governance, and strategic implementation of ServiceNow SAM Pro solutions within a DoD environment. You will set technical direction, ensure compliance alignment, architect key integrations, and oversee SAM table design and license optimization workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Own architecture and roadmap for ServiceNow SAM Pro and ITAM solutions
- Define and enforce SAM best practices, governance standards, and design principles
- Architect integrations using IntegrationHub, REST/SOAP APIs, and MID Servers
- Design entitlement reconciliation, software normalization, and compliance reporting
- Oversee SAM tables and license reclamation/harvesting/optimization workflows
Technical Overview
This is a ServiceNow SAM Pro/ITAM architecture role centered on IntegrationHub integrations and REST/SOAP APIs using MID Servers. It requires Flow Designer and advanced scripting (JavaScript/Glide) to implement entitlement reconciliation, software normalization, compliance reporting, and automated license reclamation/harvesting/optimization, along with safe upgrades and migrations.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM) Architect with 7+ years of ServiceNow experience and 3+ years focused on architecting ITAM/SAM Pro solutions. They are strong in SAM Pro governance, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, REST/SOAP integrations with MID Servers, and entitlement reconciliation, normalization, and audit-ready compliance reporting within a DoD environment.
