The Shift Mechanic maintains and repairs plant equipment to support the maintenance and production teams. Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, troubleshooting pneumatic and hydraulic systems, performing equipment inspections and alignments, and using CMMS to complete work orders and schedule maintenance work.

The position requires hands-on work with pneumatic system troubleshooting, hydraulic system maintenance, motors and pumps, and heavy equipment (forklifts, overhead cranes, jib cranes) with CMMS work order management.

The ideal candidate is a maintenance mechanic with 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience (or a two-year industrial maintenance degree). They can handle preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and equipment alignments, using CMMS for work orders and scheduling maintenance work. They are comfortable working rotating continental shifts and performing safety-first maintenance on pneumatic and hydraulic systems and heavy equipment.
