About this role
The Order Fulfillment Specialist/Shipping-Crating Specialist prepares orders and crated shipments using UPS and FedEx systems. The role includes picking parts from work order instructions, packaging, creating tracking labels and shipping documents, and maintaining inventory accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Read computerized pick and packing instructions
- Gather parts and verify type and quantity
- Inspect and remove defective parts, package to order, and create tracking labels
- Create supporting shipping documentation and move orders to the delivery area
- Restock and assist with physical inventory while reporting shortages

This position relies on computerized pick and packing work order instructions and completing electronic transactions in a warehouse management system. It also requires shipping readiness using carrier small package shipment systems, tracking labels, and bill of materials processing.

The ideal candidate is an entry-level warehouse and shipping professional who can accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment using UPS and FedEx systems. They are detail-oriented, able to lift 50–75 pounds frequently, and can be trained to use nail and staple guns, pallet jacks, and forklifts while following safety and housekeeping standards.
