About this role
The Site Inventory Coordinator supports inventory management across the Rahway site by handling receipt, disbursement, labeling, placement, and distribution of materials. The role performs inventory database maintenance with data entry, queries, and reconciliation while following GMP and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Support inventory management for receipt, disbursement, labeling, placement, and distribution of materials
- Perform data entry, queries, maintenance, and reconciliation of inventory levels
- Prepare shipping material identification/status control labels and GMP documents
- Sample production materials and chemicals for quality evaluation with associated paperwork
- Maintain safety equipment and perform documented periodic safety and GMP inspections
Technical Overview
The role uses computer database systems and performs data entry, queries, and reconciliation of inventory levels. It also requires GMP-compliant document preparation for shipping/material identification and ongoing safety and GMP inspections.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an entry-level warehouse professional with strong inventory management experience, including receiving, labeling, staging, and distribution of materials. They are proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook), comfortable with inventory database systems for data entry and reconciliation, and familiar with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) documentation. Forklift certification and GMP environment experience are strong advantages.
