This role ensures the performance, availability, and scalability of Intelerad’s healthcare imaging platforms through SRE and system administration practices. You will focus heavily on SQL Server administration plus deployments and monitoring to maintain 24/7 reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor infrastructure health and prevent reliability issues
Optimize SQL Server performance (execution plans, indexing, tuning)
Perform database maintenance routines
Plan and execute software deployments, patches, and releases
Handle server provisioning and OS patching/hardening on Windows/Linux

Technical Overview

The position combines SQL database performance optimization (query execution plans, indexing, tuning, maintenance routines) with system administration (server provisioning, OS patching and hardening on Windows/Linux). It also includes software deployment execution across on-premises and cloud environments while monitoring infrastructure health to achieve 99.9%+ uptime.

The ideal candidate is a senior SRE/Site Reliability professional with deep SQL database administration experience focused on SQL Server performance, tuning, and maintenance. They also have strong system administration skills across Windows and Linux and can reliably plan and execute software deployments to keep mission-critical healthcare imaging platforms available 24/7.
