About this role
Social Performance Manager responsible for advancing social performance at the site, building relationships with communities and Indigenous groups, and developing the site's Social Performance Plan with cross-functional collaboration and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development, execution, monitoring, and reporting of the site's Social Performance Plan
- Identify, assess, and manage social impacts and risks
- Build and maintain relationships with priority community stakeholders and Indigenous groups
- Plan, organize, and facilitate stakeholder and community engagement activities
- Maintain accurate social performance records and registers, supporting assurance processes
Technical Overview
Emphasis on social performance planning, engagement, risk management, and assurance; experience with Aluminum Stewardship Initiative and centralized data/documentation systems.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a mid-level social performance professional with a degree in sustainable development or related field, strong stakeholder engagement with Indigenous groups, and experience building and reporting on social performance plans.
