About this role

As an SDE2 on Amazon Connect, you will develop end-to-end code from design to development for the next generation cloud contact center. You will work across the stack to deliver scalable, resilient systems with a strong customer focus.

Technical Overview

Amazon Connect leverages AI and multiple AWS services (Amazon Lex, Amazon Polly, AWS Lambda, Amazon S3, Amazon Kinesis). The role involves building backend/cloud features using modern web, SOA, and NoSQL databases, and working with Big Data and AI/ML-driven components to support massive scale.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is an SDE2 software engineer who can build end-to-end features for Amazon Connect, with strong computer science fundamentals and practical experience across modern web and backend systems. They have hands-on experience with AWS services used by Amazon Connect such as Amazon Lex, Amazon Polly, AWS Lambda, Amazon S3, and Amazon Kinesis. They prioritize customer focus while delivering scalable, resilient systems.
