Senior Software Engineer- Electrification develops embedded software for high voltage vehicle systems, ensuring safety and validation across automotive networks; collaborates with Agile teams to deliver ECU software with CI/CD and SOA/SDV principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality software for embedded controls
- ensure ISO26262 compliance
- develop for high voltage battery systems
- coordinate with SDV, Calibration, and Validation
- promote TDD/BDD and CI/CD
Technical Overview
Stack includes C/C++, Python, embedded OS, ECU diagnostics, CAN/LIN/ARXML, MISRA, ISO26262, SiL/HiL testing, DevOps/CI-CD, JIRA, SAFe.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a seasoned software engineer with 5+ years in embedded controls for high voltage systems, fluent in C/C++, Python, and automotive safety standards (ISO26262). They should be comfortable with SiL/HiL testing, ECU diagnostics, and cross-team collaboration in a hybrid GM environment.
