About this role
Build and maintain AWS Keyspaces (Amazon Keyspaces), a serverless, highly available NoSQL database service compatible with Apache Cassandra. You will own delivery end to end—from requirements and design reviews through implementations, code reviews, and ongoing operations—while mentoring engineers.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a hands-on software engineer with experience building and operating distributed database systems at massive scale, including familiarity with Apache Cassandra or Cassandra-compatible architectures. They demonstrate strong execution across end-to-end delivery: requirements gathering, design/implementation, code reviews, operations, and continuous improvement, along with mentoring and cross-team collaboration.
