About this role

Amazon Web Services (AWS) PSDT is looking for a Software Development Engineer to build tooling that improves security visibility, drives remediation, and supports post-remediation at scale. You will develop software analysis capabilities for AWS leaders and collaborate across teams to deliver remediation workflows without scaling Security Operations headcount.

Technical Overview

The role focuses on cloud security tooling across AWS, centered on Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) and Cloud-Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP). You will build a software analysis platform and large distributed systems designed to execute remediation and post-remediation activities reliably while meeting operational excellence expectations.

The ideal candidate is a Software Development Engineer with strong interest in security-at-scale and experience building software that supports cloud security workflows. They have hands-on ability to work with large distributed systems and drive remediation and post-remediation activity, along with strong technical leadership and mentoring capabilities.
