Infinx is hiring a Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and deploy software applications for healthcare-focused clients. The role involves Agile collaboration, code reviews, debugging, and contributing to automated testing and deployment to improve delivery quality.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy software applications
Collaborate with product managers and designers to define requirements
Write clean, scalable code and adhere to coding standards
Conduct code reviews and share knowledge
Troubleshoot defects and performance issues and support automated testing/deployment

Technical Overview

The engineering work includes implementing scalable, clean code and participating across the software development lifecycle using Agile practices. The stack focus is foundational experience with PHP, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python, plus basic understanding of building and consuming APIs (with some mention of relational databases).

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a mid-level software engineer with at least 2+ years of software development experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. They have foundational experience with one or more of PHP, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python, understand how to build and consume APIs, and work effectively in Agile teams performing sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
