About this role

Hybrid Software & Infrastructure Engineer at Intel Foundry; design, develop, deploy, and support cloud-based applications and distributed systems for semiconductor manufacturing/test. You will own platform and infrastructure across cloud and on-prem environments with a focus on security, reliability, automation, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and debug cloud-based applications; build and support distributed systems with reliability; manage on-prem virtualization and cloud infrastructure; own CI/CD pipelines and IaC; maintain documentation

Technical Overview

Stack includes multi-language software (C#, .NET, Java, C++, Go, Python), cloud (Azure), containerization (Kubernetes, Docker), IaC (Terraform, Bicep/ARM), CI/CD tooling, and monitoring (Prometheus, ELK/Azure Monitor). Emphasis on automation, PCI/patching, and secure operations.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a mid-level software & infrastructure engineer with 3+ years of software development experience and strong Azure/Kubernetes know-how, plus hands-on scripting and IaC experience. They should be comfortable working in a hybrid environment across cloud and on-prem systems and collaborating with internal/external stakeholders.
