About this role
This role designs, develops, and maintains applications for Textron Systems Electronic Systems, supporting electronic warfare test, simulation, and training solutions. Responsibilities include embedded software work, GUI development, lab-based debugging, and collaboration with systems, hardware, and customers.

Technical Overview
You will build software in C#, C++, Java, and Python, working on embedded systems involving microcontrollers, GPUs, and FPGA interfaces. The role includes creating graphical user interfaces, integrating AI technology into product capabilities, and debugging/troubleshooting with spectrum analyzers and digital oscilloscopes in hands-on lab environments.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a Software Engineer III/IV with strong embedded software experience using C#, C++, Java, and Python. They have built and debugged complex applications with graphical user interfaces and worked closely with hardware engineers using lab equipment like spectrum analyzers and digital oscilloscopes, with additional experience integrating AI capabilities and leading planning/roadmaps.
