Textron Systems is hiring a Software Engineer III/IV for a Top Secret role supporting electronic warfare (EW) test, simulation, and training solutions. You will design, develop, and maintain embedded and application software, build user-friendly graphical interfaces, integrate AI capabilities, and collaborate with hardware and systems teams in hands-on lab environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain applications in C#, C++, Java, and Python
  • Work with embedded systems including microcontrollers, GPUs, and FPGA interfaces
  • Lead graphical user interface development for complex multi-functional systems
  • Debug and troubleshoot using lab equipment such as spectrum analyzers and digital oscilloscopes
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers and systems engineers on requirements, architecture, and troubleshooting

Ideal Candidate

They have strong GUI development experience and hands-on debugging/troubleshooting using lab test equipment such as spectrum analyzers and digital oscilloscopes, with the ability to lead small software teams and collaborate with hardware and systems engineers.
