Key Responsibilities

Assist in developing and debugging software in Python, C/C++ and TypeScript/JavaScript
Support API integration (REST/JSON/XML)
Participate in unit/system/test automation
Document technical specs and maintain project records
Attend progress meetings with team and leadership

Technical Overview

Stack includes Python, C++, TypeScript/JavaScript; REST APIs, JSON, XML; IDEs such as VS Code or JetBrains; Git/Github; CMake/NPM/PIP; Windows GUI libraries (wxWidgets/Qt); SQL; TCP/IP/HTTPS; AI tools Claude Code and Codex; Intuit QuickBooks Desktop SDK; LaTeX/Markdown; scripting and basic DevOps concepts.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is an undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in computer science or related STEM field with solid foundations in Python, C++, and TypeScript/JavaScript and eagerness to gain hands-on software engineering experience across multiple languages and APIs.

Must-Have Skills

Currently pursuing an Associates (2 year) or Bachelors (4 year) degree in Computer ScienceComputer EngineeringElectrical EngineeringMathematicsData Scienceor other STEM degree with foundations in programming in popular progamming languages such as PythonC++ / CTypeScript / Javascript
