About this role
Solutions Engineer, Robotics is responsible for pre-sales technical engagement with robotics customers, delivering demos, scoping projects, and turning customer requirements into Scale capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with AEs to deliver pilots and demos
- Define customer requirements and SOWs
- Collaborate with Product/Engineering to shape Scale robotics offerings
- Ingest external datasets for government/enterprise use cases
- Travel to customer sites for workshops
Technical Overview
Role spans frontend/backend development, robotics data pipelines, and integration of GenAI/LLMs with customer workflows; requires ROS/ROS2 and cloud infrastructure experience.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a robotics software engineer with 3+ years in production-grade systems, strong Python/TypeScript/Node.js skills, ROS/ROS2 experience, and the ability to work with customers in a high-autonomy, on-site role.
