About this role

The Bletchley Fellowship is a paid, work-integrated apprenticeship for recent graduates transitioning into software engineering with an interest in AI & Data Science. Fellows complete Flatiron bootcamps and contribute to real production projects with an employer partner while working in sprint-based workflows and participating in code reviews.

Key Responsibilities

Complete Flatiron Software Engineering (full-time) and Data Science (part-time) bootcamps
Contribute to real software projects in a paid apprenticeship
Collaborate in sprint-based workflows and participate in code reviews
Build a portfolio of production-level work
Receive mentorship from experienced engineers and product leaders

Technical Overview

The role focuses on foundational software engineering and data science training, culminating in production-level work. Fellows learn Agile development practices, sprint-based collaboration, and maintainable code writing while applying data-informed thinking for AI-enabled products.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is an early-career, recent graduate with up to 2+ years of experience (including internships) who is excited to learn new technologies in a structured environment. They have a strong interest in AI & Data Science and can participate in sprint-based workflows and code reviews while building production-level work through bootcamp and a paid apprenticeship.
