About this role

Lead teams responsible for technology solutions that meet business needs and satisfy risk and operational requirements. Direct engineering and deployment for significant delivery projects, and manage the full team lifecycle including hiring, coaching, and performance reviews.

Key Responsibilities

Direct engineering and deployment of significant delivery projects in accordance with requirements, schedules, and budgets (Agile)
Oversee planning, design, engineering, testing and deployment of application projects (Waterfall or Agile)
Develop departmental plans for long-term operations planning and performance
Own first line of Risk defense and implement mitigations
Lead and consult on large or complex projects; full management responsibilities

Technical Overview

Own planning, design, engineering, testing, and deployment of application projects using Agile methodologies and possibly Waterfall approaches. Provide coaching grounded in systems engineering and systems administration, while handling risk management ownership and operational challenges at scale.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is an engineering leader with Director-level experience managing delivery of large technology solutions using both Agile methodologies and Waterfall approaches. They own risk management in a first-line-of-defense model, have deep systems engineering and systems administration knowledge, and lead application planning through testing and deployment with strong team management capability.
