Lead an agile mobile engineering team at Polaris, focusing on mobile application capabilities and scalable digital experiences. Own technical direction and architectural oversight, ensure secure and reliable engineering practices, and drive CI/CD maturity for delivery automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of ~30 software engineers and architects
- Drive technical direction and architectural oversight for mobile frameworks, API design, and cloud infrastructure
- Champion secure software development practices and rigorous testing
- Ensure low-latency reliability for connected vehicle data ingestion systems
- Drive CI/CD pipeline maturity and oversee release management
Technical Overview
Responsible for the architecture and delivery of mobile frameworks, API design, and cloud infrastructure. Ensures secure software development (code reviews, vulnerability response, testing), and the reliability and low-latency performance of high-scale connected vehicle data ingestion systems, while improving CI/CD pipelines and release management.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a Software Engineering Manager with strong mobile engineering leadership experience, including architectural oversight for mobile frameworks and API design. They have led CI/CD maturity and secure development practices (code reviews, vulnerability response, testing) while driving scalable, low-latency systems for connected vehicle or IoT data ingestion. They can coach and manage large engineering teams and partner with product leaders to deliver customer-facing mobile experiences.
