About this role
The Software Engineering Manager will lead the Pharmacy Services Platform Engineering team, combining technical leadership with people management. This role owns architecture and delivery for pharmacy applications while partnering with Pharmacy Operations, Product Management, and IT Infrastructure to execute the roadmap.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead 2–4 software engineers and SQA in an Agile delivery model
- Own technical design, architecture, and implementation of pharmacy applications
- Ensure secure, high-quality, maintainable software delivery
- Hire, onboard, coach, and develop engineering talent
- Troubleshoot complex application and production issues and drive roadmap execution
Technical Overview
The position works within an Agile delivery model and requires hands-on development while directing technical design, architecture, and implementation. The manager ensures delivery of high-quality, secure, and maintainable software, actively reduces technical debt through modernization, and resolves complex application and production issues.
