Solution Architect at Lumen to design and present enterprise backbone network solutions; lead pre-sales engagements across fiber, data centers, and cloud; travel may be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrates advanced discovery and solution selling abilities
- Designs involving high-capacity fiber, wavelength services, data center interconnect, MOFN, IP transit, NaaS, edge compute, CDN, cloud connectivity, SASE/SD-WAN, and private wireless
- Prepares and delivers architectural diagrams and proposals
- Provides feedback to product management and sales
- Lifecycle / Ecosystem Partnership: assist sales teams with business opportunities
Technical Overview
Focus on high-capacity fiber solutions (MOFN, DWDM), data center interconnect, MOFN, IP transit, NaaS, and SASE/SD-WAN; create architecture diagrams and ROI-driven proposals for enterprise customers; collaborate with sales and product teams.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior solutions architect with 5+ years in pre-sales/engineering for cloud, data center, or SaaS, with deep fiber optics knowledge (DWDM) and experience designing enterprise-grade networking solutions.
