Solutions Architect III role focused on architecting hybrid AWS and on-premises solutions. You will partner with customers and internal teams to assess portfolios, determine migration feasibility, and drive successful deployment of applications on the AWS platform.

Key Responsibilities

Act as a technical liaison and architect hybrid AWS and on-premises solutions
Analyze application portfolios, identify dependencies, and assess migration feasibility
Guide customers on architecture choices and AWS best practices
Ensure success in building, migrating, and deploying applications on AWS
Author AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers

Technical Overview

Architects hybrid cloud solutions on Amazon Web Services and advises customers on architecture choices, best practices, and cost-effectiveness. Builds and supports migrations by analyzing application portfolios, dependencies, infrastructure components, and deploying distributed applications using languages such as C++, Perl, Python, or Java with database architecture experience involving Big Data or Hadoop.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a senior Solutions Architect with 5+ years of experience designing and deploying distributed applications on Amazon Web Services, including hybrid AWS and on-premises architectures. They have strong database architecture experience with Big Data or Hadoop, and they can guide customers through architecture choices, migrations, and successful deployments, including authoring customer-facing publications like whitepapers.
