About this role

Serve as a technical liaison to help customers adopt AWS by analyzing application portfolios and architecting hybrid AWS and on-premises solutions. Guide architecture choices, support migration and deployment to AWS, and communicate progress and best practices to executives and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

Act as technical liaison between customers and engineering/support teams
Analyze application portfolios and dependencies; assess migration feasibility
Architect hybrid AWS and on-premises solutions; guide architecture choices
Ensure success in building, migrating, and deploying on the AWS platform
Author AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers and share best practices

Technical Overview

You will design and consult on distributed applications and architect/provision/deploy applications across public cloud and on-premises virtualized environments. The scope includes AWS hybrid architecture guidance, migration feasibility assessment, and authoring AWS customer-facing whitepapers.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a Solutions Architect III with at least one year of experience in the role area and strong expertise designing, implementing, and consulting on distributed applications. They can architect, provision, and deploy applications to public cloud environments or on-premises virtualized environments using C++, Perl, Python, or Java, while guiding customers through successful AWS adoption. They also communicate effectively with senior executives and contribute customer-facing whitepapers.
