About this role

Serve as a Solutions Architect and technical liaison to help customers architect and migrate hybrid AWS and on-premises solutions. Guide customers through architecture choices and ensure success in building, migrating, and deploying applications on AWS while sharing best practices and authoring customer-facing whitepapers.

Key Responsibilities

Act as a technical liaison between customers and engineering/support
Analyze application portfolios and assess migration feasibility
Architect hybrid AWS and on-premises solutions and guide AWS best practices
Ensure success building, migrating, and deploying applications on AWS
Author whitepapers and brief senior executive team on customer progress

Technical Overview

Architect hybrid AWS and on-premises solutions, including feasibility assessments based on application portfolios and dependencies. Support deployments for distributed applications and demonstrate database architecture and performance tuning experience with Big Data or Hadoop, using languages including C++, Perl, Python, and Java.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a senior Solutions Architect who can act as a technical liaison between customers and engineering/support teams. They have hands-on experience designing distributed applications and architecting deployments across hybrid AWS and on-premises environments, with strong database architecture and performance tuning skills including Big Data or Hadoop.
