About this role
This role is the technical pre-sales expert for Okta's Commercial solutions, partnering with sales to demonstrate value, answer technical questions, and deliver Proof Of Concepts to educate customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Commercial Account Executives to understand customer challenges
- Build and deliver product demonstrations
- Plan and deliver Proof Of Concepts (POCs) for complex use cases
- Provide feedback to product management about enhancements
- Share best practices with other Solutions Engineers
Technical Overview
The candidate will articulate security and identity platform concepts, demonstrate product capabilities, and translate customer needs into product demonstrations and PoCs. Strong web development knowledge and security domain understanding are critical.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior solutions engineer with 5+ years of pre-sales SaaS experience, strong security protocol knowledge (OAuth, SAML, LDAP), and the ability to deliver product demos and PoCs to diverse audiences.
