About this role

This Specialist, Data Engineer role supports the Enterprise Data and AI team by developing and maintaining robust data pipelines. You will work within Palantir Foundry and the Unified Data Layer to build logical data models, cleanse/consolidate data, and create dashboards for actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines
Maintain pipeline schedules and orchestrate workflows with health monitoring
Create and optimize data connections, datasets, and transformations
Troubleshoot and resolve data sync issues and ensure correct data flow
Develop cleansing, consolidation, integration mechanisms and build dashboards in Palantir Foundry

Technical Overview

The technical scope includes ETL/ELT pipeline development and maintenance, data pipeline schedule/orchestration and health monitoring, and troubleshooting data sync issues. Work also covers data connections, datasets and transformations, ontology support, and dashboard/visualization development using Palantir Foundry.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a data engineer specialist with experience supporting enterprise ETL/ELT pipelines and ensuring data quality through cleansing and standardization. They are comfortable building logical data models and creating dashboards in Palantir Foundry to support the Unified Data Layer.
