This role supports Identity & Access Management for mainframe security operations, including password and access change processing, RACF administration tasks, and certificate workflow support. The specialist will follow runbooks step-by-step, record evidence in tickets, keep audit-ready documentation, and grow into deeper mainframe security expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily mainframe security operational and project work
  • Process password updates/resets and access changes using runbooks and ticket evidence
  • Assist with RACF administration (user IDs, group membership, permissions) under supervision
  • Support certificate workflows including renewal inputs and validation checks
  • Maintain traceable audit-ready documentation and contribute to automation
