About this role
Specialist Service Management focuses on improving SaaS Governance by partnering with application owners, security teams, and internal governance groups. The role involves defining governance processes, creating KPIs, maintaining documentation, and serving as a point of contact for SaaS governance questions.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Application Owners to ensure adherence to SaaS Governance Standard
- Partner with Information Security Office Attack Surface Management Team on SaaS Governance
- Create/Manage KPIs for SaaS Governance
- Define and refine governance processes (intake, operate, decommission)
- Develop documentation and act as point of contact for SaaS Governance stakeholders
Technical Overview
You will work with SaaS applications and SaaS security controls, applying knowledge of APIs (especially SaaS APIs). The role emphasizes understanding Cloud Services, Software Development Lifecycle concepts, and core infrastructure interdependencies to strengthen governance guardrails and automate/streamline governance workflows over time.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a mid-level service management or governance specialist with hands-on experience supporting SaaS applications and applying SaaS security controls. They have a strong foundation in APIs (specifically SaaS APIs), can define and improve governance processes (intake, operate, decommission), and can create KPI reporting to drive adherence to standards in a cross-functional environment.
