Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop embedded software and platforms for next generation tactical radios
- Design and implement Ethernet-based networking on embedded Linux
- Develop SATCOM-enabled software defined radios
- Create software test procedures and documentation
- Mentor junior engineers and support sprint planning
Technical Overview
Stack includes C/C++, Embedded Linux on RTOS (VxWorks, QNX), software-defined radios, Ethernet/IP networking, and security-focused protocols (HAIPE, IKEv1). Tools include OS/Comet, InControl, Git/Bitbucket, and Jenkins; Agile development with CI.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an embedded software engineer with 2+ years of C/C++ experience, strong RTOS and embedded Linux background, and hands-on networking and SATCOM exposure. They should be comfortable working in a defense-focused, security-clearance environment and mentoring junior engineers.
