About this role
Per diem varied shift Speech Pathologist/Therapist role responsible for evaluating patients’ cognitive, communication, and/or swallowing abilities and delivering goal-oriented treatment. The position requires Nevada licensure and current BLS certification.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for providing a comprehensive evaluation of cognitive, communication skills and/or swallowing function and providing goal-oriented treatment to facilitate maximum communication and/or swallowing potential.
- Provide patient care/service to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a licensed Speech Pathologist in Nevada with a Master’s degree meeting ASHA academic and intern requirements for the Certificate of Clinical Competence. They have current BLS certification and either hold ASHA CCC-SLP or are actively completing the Clinical Fellowship year, with experience providing comprehensive evaluations and goal-oriented treatment for communication and/or swallowing.
