About this role

Per Diem Speech Therapist evaluates and treats patients under speech-language pathology services, covering neonatal to geriatric populations with competency in MBSS and comprehensive assessment.

Key Responsibilities

Responds to physician orders for speech therapy
Administers and interprets tests and measurements of patients
Reviews patient charts and progress prior to treatment
Develops functional goals based on patient/family expectations
Develops, improves, and restores cognitive skills, language comprehension, and language expression

Technical Overview

Clinical SLP scope includes assessment, testing, treatment planning, and communication disorders management; requires CCC/ASHA and state licensure with BLS.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a licensed SLP with ASHA CCC, BLS, and MBSS competency, capable of serving neonatal through geriatric patients on a per diem basis.
