About this role
Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer responsible for leading cross-divisional initiatives for new cab/interior/outerbody projects, developing manufacturing requirements, and driving process improvements across safety, quality, and cost targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Be part of a team of New Product Implementation Engineers
- Complete manufacturing documents for approved projects
- Track metrics and coordinate plant input
- Develop manufacturing/operations requirements
- Lead cross-divisional manufacturing groups
Technical Overview
Manufacturing engineering with PFMEA, Windchill/Creo tooling, process optimization, and experience with line sequencing, paint, tests; ability to interpret design drawings and generate manufacturing documents; travel up to 10% annually.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior manufacturing engineer with 3-5+ years in automotive manufacturing, strong PFMEA experience, and hands-on Creo/ Windchill skills. They should lead manufacturing process improvements for new product introductions and coordinate cross-functional teams to meet safety, quality, and cost targets.
