About this role

Senior SDET at Hartford Financial Services Group leads automated testing initiatives for Digital applications, working with multiple vendors and IT leaders to align testing priorities with IT strategy and drive continuous testing improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Accountable for overall test planning and test execution of the assigned Scrum and Platform teams for Digital applications
Work with multiple vendors, IT leaders, and business teams to align automated testing priorities with IT strategies
Design, develop, review and maintain test artifacts - test cases, frameworks, code library, common capabilities, etc. adhering to the software engineering best practices
Develop automated Test Data Management capabilities across the program ecosystem
Provide solutions to shift-left NFR testing - performance, security and accessibility for external facing digital applications

Technical Overview

Hands-on QE leadership with substantial toolchain experience (Playwright, Selenium, JMeter, CI/CD, DevOps tools). Emphasis on cross-browser testing, shift-left testing, data management, and Gen AI enhancements in testing practices.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a senior SDET with 5+ years of QE experience, strong automation expertise across Java, JavaScript/Typescript, and Python, and hands-on experience with Playwright/Selenium. They will lead testing efforts in a hybrid environment, mentor teams, and collaborate across business and IT partners in the insurance domain.
