Data Management Manager leads DBAs and SAP BASIS Administrators across multiple database platforms, ensuring data integrity, security, and alignment with enterprise standards while planning budgets and coordinating with IT teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leads, advises and develops team of SAP BASIS and Database Administrators
  • Partner with SAP application teams, development teams, Infrastructure/System Admin teams and business stakeholders
  • Understand database requirements for new projects
  • Provide status updates and escalate risks
  • Plan budgeting and resource allocation

Technical Overview

Extensive hands-on and leadership experience with SAP HANA/BASIS and multiple RDBMS (SQL Server, DB2, Oracle, PostgreSQL). Focus on patching, backup/recovery, security, licensing, ITIL processes, and cross-team coordination.

Ideal Candidate

Seasoned data management leader with 8+ years of database administration across multiple platforms, including SAP HANA/BASIS. Demonstrates strong team leadership, vendor coordination, and adherence to ITIL practices in an enterprise setting.
