About this role
Amazon’s Selling Partner Communities (SPC) team is seeking a Senior Applied Scientist to apply AI and machine learning to improve the selling partner experience. The role involves end-to-end ownership of technical work, from defining requirements through building scalable models and integrating into production systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle challenging problems impacting millions of selling partners independently collect and analyze data
- Design, develop and deliver scalable models
- Collaborate with scientists, engineers, product managers, and business teams
- Consult with engineering teams to design data and modeling pipelines
- Stay current with the latest research in LLMs, RL, and agent-based AI and translate findings into practical applications
Technical Overview
You will collect and analyze data independently and develop scalable machine learning models using experimentation. The work includes implementing data and modeling pipelines, collaborating cross-functionally, and applying the latest research in LLMs, RL, and agent-based AI to practical SPC use cases.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior applied scientist who has built and deployed machine learning solutions using rigorous experimentation on massive datasets. They are comfortable defining requirements with business partners, designing scalable models and data/modeling pipelines, and staying current with LLMs, RL, and agent-based AI research.
