Capital One seeks a Sr Associate Product Manager to help evolve the Decisioning Platform Orchestration. You will translate business goals into actionable engineering work, own the product backlog, and collaborate across software engineers, data scientists, and compliance to deliver a scalable, AWS-based decisioning platform with a strong customer focus.

Key Responsibilities

Translate the high level business goals and strategy into actionable work for engineering teams
Own the backlog and tech debt based on data-driven insights and stakeholder needs
Collaborate cross-functionally with Software Engineers, Architects, Compliance, Data Scientists, and Business Analysts to ensure our orchestration logic is both accurate and performant
Create, influence, and execute a robust, proactive roadmap inclusive of platform modernization, business intent, and well managed efforts
Drive continuous improvement; use AWS monitoring tools and customer feedback to find bottlenecks and optimize our decisioning flows

Technical Overview

Role centers on AWS-based orchestration with API and streaming data patterns, leveraging AWS monitoring tools, databases, and AI capabilities. You will work in an Agile environment with cross-functional teams to modernize the platform and deliver MVP features.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a senior product manager with 1+ year of relevant product management experience and strong AWS/cloud experience. They should be adept at translating business goals into engineering work, driving platform modernization, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
