Senior Build Engineer supports the design, prototyping, and building of hardware-in-the-loop test setups for Amazon Leo's satellite power systems; collaborates across engineering teams to validate performance and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Design, prototype, and build novel test venues (hardware-in-the-loop); troubleshoot anomalies in production hardware/software test; build SOPs to scale satellite operations; collaborate cross-functionally to capture venue needs; provide test input to power system design trade studies

Technical Overview

Hands-on build and test of HITL environments for power systems, with DAQs, oscilloscopes, DMMs; experience in design reviews, SOPs/run-books, and cross-functional execution; aerospace experience preferred.

The ideal candidate is a senior build engineer with 5+ years building and validating HITL test setups for aerospace power systems, with strong cross-functional leadership and hands-on design capability.
