About this role
Amazon is hiring a Senior Business Development Manager for Fire TV Channels (FTVC) to lead creator and podcasts partnerships and scale a Content Investment Program. The role focuses on executing and onboarding creators/podcasts, driving GTM strategy, and partnering cross-functionally to grow the investment program.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute agreements with and onboard 30+ Creators and Podcasts globally
- Assist with FTVC GTM strategy for Creators and Podcasts
- Provide feedback loop to FTVC Product on tools and policies
- Own Fire TV Channels Content Investment Program
- Scale content investment program in partnership with Product/Editorial
Technical Overview
This role is not primarily technical, but it requires operational program execution across cross-functional teams and the ability to structure data-backed feedback loops to influence product tools and policies. It also benefits from knowledge of publisher ad tech stacks and advertising technology.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior business development leader for media/streaming partnerships with 6+ years of professional or military experience and strong experience developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements. They have delivered creator onboarding at scale, built GTM strategy for creator/podcast programs, and can manage cross-functional programs with clear processes and release scheduling.
