About this role
Sr. Data Engineering Lead oversees data pipelines and cloud data platforms (Azure + Databricks) to support analytics at State Street, with onsite responsibilities in Burlington, MA.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines in Azure for ingesting, transforming, and loading data into centralized data lakes; Implement efficient ELT/ETL processes; Ensure data quality and integrity; Migrate on-prem applications to cloud; Collaborate with cross-functional teams
Technical Overview
Azure-based data engineering with Databricks Delta Lake, ELT/ETL pipelines, SQL/Java, and Kubernetes/Docker for orchestration; focus on migrating data to cloud and maintaining data quality.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior data engineering lead with at least 4 years in data, strong Azure and Databricks experience, and a proven ability to lead data pipeline initiatives and migrate on-prem data to the cloud.
