Sr Data Scientist

The Sr Data Scientist will develop and implement AI and machine learning solutions for GE Aerospace, working in a cross-functional environment to deliver business outcomes. The role includes exploratory data analysis, building models, deploying to production, and maintaining model performance over time.

• Understand business problems & processes and develop & implement data science models
• Work with data scientists, data engineers, software developers, program managers, product owners, and stakeholders to translate algorithms into products and services
• Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data pipeline for AI/ML and analytics
• Perform exploratory and targeted data analysis using descriptive statistics, including collecting, preprocessing, and analyzing large datasets for model training/testing
• Develop and deploy models into production environments and monitor & maintain deployed models

You will build AI/ML and analytics models using statistical and probabilistic methods, operations research, and semantic analysis. Responsibilities include large-scale data preprocessing and analysis, deploying models into production environments, and monitoring/maintaining deployed models with data quality and integrity across the data pipeline.

The ideal candidate is a senior Data Scientist who can independently develop and deploy Artificial Intelligence and machine learning solutions that deliver business outcomes. They have strong experience with exploratory and targeted data analysis (descriptive statistics, preprocessing), deploying models to production, and monitoring model performance with high data quality.
