Lead an HR Tech and platforms engineering organization within People Tech, driving long-term technical strategy and modernization initiatives. You will guide teams delivering high-performance enterprise applications and data platform resiliency, including AI for HR and Workday-related capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute long-term technical strategy for HR Tech and Platforms
- Lead modernization of associate-facing HR experiences including Workday and Talent Acquisition/Onboarding
- Build and lead a data organization responsible for stability, resiliency, and chaos testing
- Drive engineering patterns for enterprise-wide data platform operations
- Provide technical thought leadership and influence senior tech leaders across the organization
Technical Overview
This executive role spans cloud-native engineering with RESTful microservices and Java-based back-end systems, plus modern front-end work using React and APIs using REST and JSON. It also emphasizes data-platform ownership, including chaos testing, stability/resiliency engineering, and Discover data migration, with Workday platform integration.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an executive-level software engineering leader who has built and led HR Tech (Human Resources Technology) and platform organizations. They have deep experience with cloud-native engineering, highly-available RESTful microservices, Java-based systems, and enterprise data platforms with resiliency and chaos testing, including Workday-related platform experience.
