About this role
Lead HR Tech and Platforms engineering within People Tech, defining and executing long-term technical strategy to modernize associate-facing HR experiences. Own data platform reliability initiatives including enterprise stability, resiliency, and chaos testing while advancing initiatives like AI for HR, Talent Acquisition and Onboarding, and Performance Management.

- Lead HR Tech and Platforms strategy and teams
- Modernize associate-facing HR experiences including Workday and associated platforms
- Drive initiatives across AI for HR, Talent Acquisition/Onboarding, and Performance Management
- Build and lead a data organization focused on stability, resiliency, and chaos testing
- Define engineering patterns for data platforms and assess tool/framework adoption
Technical Overview
Executive software engineering leadership focused on HR technology and enterprise platforms. Builds and modernizes systems spanning RESTful microservices, Java backends, Big Data, and cloud infrastructure (AWS), with strong emphasis on Workday and data migration plus data platform reliability (chaos testing).
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an executive-level software engineering leader with deep experience building and modernizing HR technology and enterprise platforms, including Workday-related capabilities. They have hands-on familiarity with Java-based backends, RESTful microservices, AWS/Cloud Infrastructure, and data platform reliability practices such as chaos testing. They are strong at defining long-term technical strategy, mentoring teams, and driving large-scale modernization across enterprise stakeholders.
