About this role

Senior Distribution System Operator responsible for real-time control of the electric distribution system, including switching, tagging, restoration during outages, and maintaining system reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Follow established policies for distribution operations; manage switching and tagging; direct safety tagging and testing activities; coordinate outages with internal/external teams; train less experienced employees

Technical Overview

Requires extensive knowledge of SCADA, LOTO, safety tagging, and distribution operations; capable of emergency response and coordinating multiple crews during outages.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a senior distribution system operator with at least 1 year of DSO-2 experience, strong SCADA and switching competencies, and comfort with shift work and safety tagging procedures.

Must-Have Skills

Meet all requirements of a Distribution System Operator 2Minimum of 12-month Distribution System Operator 2 or equivalent experienceUnderstanding of the EU distribution systemExcellent communication skillsAbility to work shift work
