About this role
Senior Electrical Controls Engineer to drive standardization and the advancement of electrical control systems for Amazon's data centers, including EPMS design, BIM/CAD work, and global BoD adherence.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement energy-efficient electrical controls systems for data centers
- Create comprehensive documentation for electrical EPMS controls designs and operational procedures
- BIM/CAD experience
- Support continuous improvement through data analysis and system optimization
- Guide project teams through planning, execution, and commissioning phases
Technical Overview
Hands-on controls design with CAD/BIM tools; focuses on energy efficiency, integration with data center infrastructure, and cross-functional collaboration for implementing robust control systems.
Ideal Candidate
Ideal candidate has 6+ years of data center electrical design and CAD proficiency, with a PE license preferred. They should be capable of standardizing electrical controls across multiple facilities and driving robust documentation and BoD adherence.
