Sr. Global Procurement Category Manager for AWS Infrastructure Planning and Sourcing; leads category strategies across MRO and data-center supply chains, driving cost savings and supplier performance through global negotiations, data-driven insights, and contract management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a category within the Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) domains
- Achieve cost savings through bidding and negotiations
- Plan and execute effective negotiation strategies with vendors.
- Analyze category data and metrics to drive Procurement category strategies
- Understand trends in customers' needs and concerns, across categories and regions, to influence customers' priorities
Technical Overview
Global procurement with data analysis and category management; experience with RFX, reverse auctions, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement across a high-volume manufacturing/sourcing environment.
