About this role

Senior Innovation & Design Engineer to develop and implement high-performance physical distribution systems for Amazon’s global supply chain. Lead design and innovation projects, manage engineering design tasks, and coordinate with internal teams and external vendors.

Key Responsibilities

Invent, design, and implement engineering solutions to complex material flow/transformation and human/machine efficiency problems throughout the global Amazon supply chain
Lead and coordinate design and innovation efforts to develop optimal solutions for the transportation network
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to generate high quality, cost effective solutions in short periods
Simultaneously manage multiple projects and tasks while influencing and negotiating
Provide technical leadership for large-scale engineering projects

Technical Overview

Expertise in design & innovation and R&D; knowledge of system architecture and manufacturing processes; proficient with MS Excel/Project and CAD; focus on material handling equipment and packaging technologies.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a mid-level design & innovation engineer with 5+ years of design and R&D experience, strong project management, and exposure to material handling equipment and high-speed manufacturing.

Must-Have Skills
