About this role
Manufacturing Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to produce high-quality products efficiently and cost-effectively. Focus areas include process improvement, automation, and quality control with Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Support production and solve quality, delivery, and productivity issues
- Design tooling for new/existing components
- Lead lean projects like SMED and value stream mapping
- Plan and coordinate facility layout improvements
- Drive root cause analysis using A3/8D/Fishbone/5Why
Technical Overview
Strong CAD tools (AutoCAD/SolidWorks/Inventor), Lean Six Sigma, process improvement methodologies (SMED, 8D, 5Why), and capital project management (CAPEX). Familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing tooling.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an experienced manufacturing engineer with at least 5 years in a manufacturing environment, strong Lean Six Sigma background, and hands-on CAD experience (AutoCAD/SolidWorks/Inventor) to design and optimize production processes.
