Sr. Network Automation Engineer

Global Payments is hiring a Senior Network Automation Engineer to automate provisioning, configuration, and patching of network devices. The role bridges traditional network engineering, Cisco ACI, and software development to deliver scalable, standardized network automation with strong CI/CD and observability.

• Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks for network provisioning, configuration, and patching
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for network code testing and validation
• Define and enforce network standards across Cisco, Juniper, and F5 environments to prevent configuration drift
• Develop automated telemetry and analytics to proactively identify and remediate network issues
• Integrate network automation workflows with ServiceNow, GitLab, and NetBox

You will build Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks using Terraform and/or Ansible, integrate network code into Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and enforce standards to prevent configuration drift. The role also includes developing automated telemetry using Prometheus or Grafana and integrating workflows with ServiceNow, GitLab, and NetBox as a source of truth.

The ideal candidate is a senior network automation engineer who can replace manual network configuration with programmatic, scalable solutions. They have strong Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience using Terraform and/or Ansible, build CI/CD pipelines for network code, and implement observability using Prometheus and Grafana. They also have deep networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, layer 2 switching) and can integrate automation workflows with tools like ServiceNow, GitLab, and NetBox.
